무덥고 긴 여름방학동안 자녀들과 함께 즐거운 시간을 보내셨는지요?

벧엘한국학교는2015년 9월 4일에 가을 학기의 첫 날을 시작합니다. 저희 벧엘한국학교 선생님들과 보조교사 그리고 모든 staff들은 최선을 다하여 수업 준비를 마치고 학생들을 기다리고 있습니다. 훌륭한 지도자들로서 다음 세대를 이끌어나가야 할 우리 학생들이 벧엘한국학교를 통하여 오랜 역사와 훌륭한 문화 유산을 가진 자랑스러운 한국의 후손임을 깨닫고  긍지와 자부심을 가진 멋진 Korean-American으로 지도하고자 노력하고 있습니다.

지난 30여년간 변함없이 우리 벧엘한국학교를 축복해 주신 하나님께 감사를 드리고, 늘 자녀들의 교육을 위해 관심과 정성을 기울이시는 학부모님께 깊은 감사를 드립니다. 앞으로도 더 많은 격려와 협조를 부탁드립니다.

벧엘한국학교 드림

1) 개   학   일: 2015년 9월4일 금요일 오후 5시

아이들을4:55 p.m. 까지 교회 본당으로 데려오시기 바랍니다.

개강일에 재평가가 필요한 반은 시험을 실시하고2주안에 실력에 따라 학생들의 반이 재조정 될 수 있습니다. 많은 협조와 이해를 부탁드립니다.

＊본당에서 학생들 출석 점검을 하며 3번 지각은 결석으로 간주합니다.

                            <<수업 시간표 >>

              · 예        배    5:00  -  5:15     교회 본당

              · 1  교    시     5:15  -  6:30     한국어

              · 간식시간       6:30  -  6:45     친교실 혹은 각 교실

              · 2교     시     6:45  -  8:00     한국어, 역사, 문화

2) 저녁 식사:    작년과 같이 각 반의 재량으로 저녁식사가 준비되며 (각 반의 Room mother들과 의논하여 정함) 학교에서는 예년대로, 한 달에 한번씩(9/4, 10/2, 11/20, 12/18)저녁식사를제공합니다.

3) 등교, 하교:   4:55 pm까지 데려 오시고. 7:55 pm에  pick-up해 주시기 바랍니다.

특히 개나리반, 무궁화반 학생들은 교실문 앞에서 데려가시기 바랍니다.

4) 준   비   물: 책가방, 필기도구, 공책, 1” view clear pocket바인더 (교과서는 학교에서 제공됨)

5) 날씨로 인한 휴교:  하워드 카운티 공립학교에 따릅니다. 휴교일은 벧엘한국학교도 휴강합니다. 1-2 시간 연기될 경우, 벧엘한국학교는 그대로 수업합니다.

* 가을 학기: 9/4/15 - 12/18/15  [16주, 추수감사절(11/27/15) 휴교]

* 봄 학기: 1/29/16 – 5/20/16  [17주, 부활절(4/1/16)휴교]

Dear Parents,

Bethel Korean School hopes you and your family have a wonderful Summer. After a long Summer break, we are very excited and ready to serve you and your child for 2015-2016 school year. Bethel Korean School will begin the first day of fall semester on September 04, 2015. We promise that we will try our best to educate and nurture your child as a Korean-American Christian to grow with a positive attitude of his or her identity.

We thank God that He has blessed Bethel Korean School in many ways and allowed us to work with many children for the last 32 years. We ask you to pray continuously for our school. 1.  1^st day of school in 2015:      

9/ 4/ 2015, Friday, 5:00pm.  (All children should be reported at 4:55pm)

Even though each child has been placed in a class according to their Korean Language ability, there may be some changes in the first day and second day.

The children’s attendance will be checked at the main sanctuary; 3 times being late will be marked as 1 absence.

2. Dinner:              

Parents may take a turn to provide snacks for a whole class or provide his or her child’s snack individually. Detail information should be discussed with each teacher. The school will provide dinner on 9/4, 10/2, 11/20, 12/18.

3. Class Hours:

ㆍWorship             5:00pm – 5:15pm        Main chapel (All children should be reported at 4:55pm)

ㆍ1^stclass             5:15pm – 6:30pm        Korean

ㆍSnack                6:30pm – 6:45pm        Fellowship Hall or Class Room

ㆍ2^ndclass             6:45pm – 8:00pm        Korean, Korean History or Korean Culture

4. Supplies to be prepared by parents:

backpack  /   pencils   /   notebook   /  1”view clear pocket  binder

The school will provide the textbook.

5. Inclement Weather Guideline:

All classes will be cancelled when Howard County’s schools are closed; however, Bethel Korean School will be open when Howard County’s schools are open a few hours late.

* Fall Semester of 2015 (15 weeks):    9/4/15 – 12/18/15 (Thanksgiving week will be closed 11/27/15.)

* Spring Semester of 2016 (16 weeks):    1/29/16 – 5/20/16 (Easter week will be closed 4/01/16.)
