The March 1, 1919 movement brought international
attention to the Korean struggle for independence from Japanese colonization,
and it also shaped the modern country South Korea is today.
The 3.1 SOCIETY /
3.1 Youth Leadership serves the international community of Southern California
through various events, activities, and educational programs throughout the
year; scheduling regular events and seasonal activities depend upon the
community’s concerns.
The main mission of the 3.1 SOCIETY/ 3.1
Youth Leadership is to foster leadership in younger generations living in an
international society, based on the 3.1 Spirit of service. By educating
communities and youth with integrity, the 3.1 SOCIETY / 3.1 Youth Leadership
shares the idea of the 3.1 spirit as an ever-renewing, on-going presence born
from sacrifice in the past to create a brighter future.
