Dosan An Chang-Ho who was born in Dorong Island located at the downstream of Daedong River in Pyeonannam-Do, had joined an independence association and had organized a public office branch of the independence association at Pyeonyang. Also he had earned fame as an outstanding orator by making his first speech at the hosting of Manmin gongdongwhe(general convention of all the people) at Kwejejung. Dosan An Chang-Ho, an excellent organizer, had developed a save-the-nation movement by organizing Shinminhwe which is a secret desperate organization, in 1907 when he was 29 years old. Furthermore, he had developed Youth Association in 1909, Korea National Association in 1912, Heung Sa Dahn in 1913, and Korea Independence Party in 1928. Moreover, he had worked as an acting premier and domestic president of Shanghai provisional government and had established the foundation of the provisional government. Also, he had strived for Left- and Right-Wing Collaboration Movement.
He insisted Daegongism(=emphasizing fidelity for the publicness and nation-state). He had organized Korea Independence Party and had tried to create an ideal country as the base of Independence Movement at Najing, China in 1923. He had been arrested due to the after effect of the bomb accident of Yun Bong-Gil at Hong Gu Park at Shanghai and had been sent to Korea under escort in 1932. Dosan’s lifetime until he had passed away at the Seoul University Hospital in March 10 1938 is the model of one’s love of the country and people and influences many fields such as politics, society, education, culture, and industry these days.
